Windy, Cold Conditions Saturday Make Way For Perfect Sunday Weather at Premier's SW Florida Regional at Shell Point
Doyle, Alexander, Johnson, Schaap, Price Claim Division Championships
Fort Myers, FL - Cold and 28mph winds on Saturday gave way to great Sunday weather, higher temperatures and lower scores,
including Luke Schaap's four birdie, four bogey, even-par 71 in capturing the Boys 9-10 Division Championship. Luke's Sunday
score was the tournament low for the weekend. Spencer Alexander received the Runner-Up trophy, and was the
closest-to-the-pin winner for the Boys 9-10, receiving golf balls compliments of Premier.
In the Men 16-19 Division, Tyler Doyle's scores reflected the weather change with a 14-stroke improvement and 11 pars on his way
to the Championship honor.
In the Men 13-15 Division, Champion Jeffrey Alexander improved by four strokes from Saturday, carding a total of 8 pars and a
birdie on the 18th. Also noteworthy was Jeffrey's distraction on the par-5 13th hole, when a molar tooth unexpectedly came out. He
casually pitched the distraction into a direct water hazard and applyed gauze to the area while putting together two pars and a birdie
thereafter. Jeffrey was also the closest-to-the-pin winner and received golf balls compliments of Premier. Anthony Myers received
the Runner-Up trophy, bettering his Saturday score on Sunday by 14 strokes.
In the Young Men 11-12 Division, Kaleb Johnson claimed a 38 stroke victory, which included 7 pars on Sunday. Closest-to-the-pin
winner and Runner-Up in the YM11-12 was Chris Prozeralik, who received golf balls compliments of Premier.
In the Women 13-15 Division, Champion Georgia Price of Fort Myers bettered her Saturday score by three strokes, which included
5 pars.
Kyle Erdner of Cape Coral competed in his first Premier Regional event, carding nine hole scores of 54 on Saturday and 51 on
Sunday.

The next Premier Statewide Event will be at Sugarloaf Mountain in Minneola FL (west of Orlando) on February 21-22, 2009, and is
