Deltona, FL - Ideal weather conditions and a challenging layout greeted the players as they competed in
Premier Junior Tour's Deltona Club Junior Championship, held at The Deltona Club. With rolling terrain, dry
conditions, and various blind shots, the Deltona Club provided a strong test of skill for all involved.
In the Men's 16-19 Division, Deltona resident
Bill Anderson posted two strong rounds of 73 and 71 to claim first
place with his two day total of even par 144. Bill talked to us about his weekend, "I hit the ball well both days. The
key hole for me was the seventh in which I eagled it both days. I was able to avoid the big numbers."

the Division went to

Jimmy commented that after carding a quadruple bogey 7 on his second hole of the second round he thought, "I
would continue to play badly and lose this tournament." But on the back nine, Jimmy said that, "I really
concentrated on my game and made a few birdies." Runner up in the Division went to first round leader
Mac
Harris
. Mac finished just one stroke behind Pitenis. Third place went to Terrence Zhang of Orlando, FL.
