Men 16-19
Going wire-to-wire for the victory and also recording under par rounds both days in the Men 16-19 Division was Owen Curry of Longwood, FL. Curry jumped out to a two stroke lead over three
separate competitors after a Saturday round of two under par
70. Chip Hoch of Port Orange, FL; Anthony Maccaglia of Tampa, FL; and Cody Christensen of Windermere, FL all posted rounds of
even par 72 on day one. Curry remarked, “I played steadily from tee to green especially in the first round.” Curry stayed strong on Sunday, carding a one under par round of
71 to give him a 141 total
and a three stroke victory. Said Curry on his Sunday

19 Rankings, with 2500 points. Runner up in the Division went to Hoch. Hoch matched his Saturday 72 with the same on Sunday. Maccaglia recorded a Sunday two over par 74 to give himself a
146 total and third place. Maccaglia is currently just 200 points behind Curry in the 2011 Rankings.

Men 13-15
In the Men 13-15 Division we saw close competition all weekend. Terrence Zhang of Orlando, FL grabbed the lead on day one after shooting a two under par round of 70. One behind Zhang, at
one under

after posting 72. Zhang, however, struggled on Sunday to a round of 80, moving him down the leaderboard four spots into a tie for fifth at 150. Horsfield seized the opportunity, matching his
Saturday score on Sunday with another one under par showing of
71. Horsfield’s two under par 142 total gave him a four stroke victory and further distanced the space between himself and
second place in the current 2011 points list. “The greens were in excellent condition, the competition was great in my age group,” said Horsfield. Finishing four behind Horsfield was Harris. Harris
followed his day one 72 with a 74 on Sunday, securing second place honors. Third place was awarded to
Michael Saccente of New Smyrna Beach, FL. Saccente’s consistent scores of 73-75
ensured the third place finish. Dou and Pitenis, both tied for third after day one, posted scores of 77 and 80 on Sunday, respectively.
