Women 14-19 Division Winners
Men 13-15 Division Winners
Young Men 11-12 Division Winners
Tampa, FL – The Heritage Isles Golf and Country Club in Tampa, FL provided a strong test of golf for all competitors involved as Premier Junior Tour conducted its 6th event of the 2011 season.
Saturday come forth with sunny skies and somewhat high winds, with gusts reaching 20-25mph. Sunday was a different story as the players went off early in the morning. Cool weather and
overcast skies gave way to sunny skies and low winds as the players finished their rounds. The Heritage Isles layout forced the players to play strategically, not always hitting driver on every hole.

Men 16-19
In the Men 16-19 Division, we saw a large comeback pave the way to victory. Brian Allen of Lithia, FL jumped out to the Round 1 lead after opening with a solid round of 75 in the gusty winds. Allen’
s 75 gave him a four stroke lead going in to Sunday over his nearest competitor,
Balraj Matharu of Tampa, FL. Five strokes behind Allen after day one was Alden Davis of Chiefland, FL. While
Allen posted an 80 on Sunday and Matharu posted 75, Davis charged back by shooting an even par round of 72 to grab the victory. This is Davis’ first victory of the 2011 season, and the 1200
points earned for the victory now puts him second on the 2011 Men 16-19 Points Standings List. Matharu’s 154 total (79-75) earned him second place honors and 1000 points. Allen finished one
behind Matharu with a 155 total (75-80), good for the third place finish.

Women 14-19
A final round of even par 72 also paved the way to victory in the Women 14-19 Division. Emmy Martin of Odessa, FL found herself with a one shot lead going into Sunday after posting a five over
par round of 77 on Saturday. Just one stroke behind Martin, at 78, was
Brittany Bradshaw of Tampa, FL. First time Premier player Steffi Yo of Tampa, FL was in the third position after an 85. Martin
was able to hold off Bradshaw on Sunday by posting an impressive round of even par 72. Martin’s 149 total found her with a seven stroke victory over Bradshaw, who matched her Saturday score
of 78 again on Sunday. Martin is now in the third position on the 2011 Women 14-19 Points List. Yo also matched scores for the weekend, posting an 85 on Sunday for a total of 170.

Men 13-15
Strong competition and under par scores highlighted the Men 13-15 Division over the weekend at Heritage Isles. 2010 Player of the Year and Current 2011 Points leader Sam Horsfield of

69. The three under par performance only offered him a one stroke lead going into
Sunday, however. First time Premier player

Special to this event, Premier held a “Two-Player Competition”, for additional prizes and camaraderie. The way the format worked was that two players teamed up together, and then the total sum
of their scores was added together, and the lowest overall score won. Special prizes were donated by Heritage Isles PGA Pro Rick Bradshaw, such as a hinged driver training aid, Pro v1-x golf
balls, teaching lesson DVD’s, etc. The players had a lot of fun teaming up in this competition. Premier would like to recognize the teams who placed. They are:
