PREMIER JUNIOR TOUR GOALS
To provide junior and amateur golfers up to age 25 professionally-conducted, nationally-ranked junior golf
tournaments on a year-round, January-December schedule, offering quality competition at great Florida courses
with affordable entry fees.
PREMIER JUNIOR TOUR POLICIES
Premier Junior Tour (hereinafter referred to as "Premier") reserves the right to change its policies and rules at
any time. It is the responsibility and agreement of all players and spectators to keep apprised of any changes
made to Premier's Rules and Policies.
"Holding" A Spot In The Tournament Field
In an effort to help families plan for successful entry into Premier Junior Tour 2011 Tournaments, we have
instituted a policy that allows players to "hold" a spot in as many Premier tournaments as they wish. The steps
are:
1. Email us at karen@premierjuniortour.com with a list of 2011 tournaments that you would like to play in. Your
name will be added to the "Tournament Applications Received" List for each of those events, and a spot will be
held for you. We will confirm the email back to you within 24 hours of receipt. (It is your responsibility to make sure
you receive the email confirmation so you know we have you listed for those tournaments!) If the field is already
full with held spots, we will let you know that you are on the Alternate List for that event.
2. 14 days before the tournament is when the payment is due to finalize your spot in the field. If we do not have
payment (either credit card, check or cash) 11 days before the event, your spot for that tournament will be
released to players that are waiting to gain entry into the tournament in the order received by Premier. You may
always pay more than 14 days before an event to finalize your spot as well.
MAXIMUM STROKES
The maximum # of strokes for any hole is circle ten for the following Divisions: Women 10-13, Boys 9-12, Girls
8-9, Boys 8 & Under, Girls 7 & Under. Players must pick up their ball when they've made their tenth stroke and
count the hole as a circle ten. All other divisions have no maximum # of strokes per hole.
DIVISIONS AND APPROXIMATE YARDAGES
(Actual tournament yardage is determined by golf course layout, yardage, conditions, and other factors. The
information below is intended only as a guideline.)
NOTE: Caddies will be allowed in all Divisions for some 2011 events. See Schedule for further information.
REGISTRATION
Registration (checking-in that you've arrived) takes place on Saturday ONLY for tee time starts; both Saturday AND
Sunday for shotgun starts.
PRACTICE ON TOURNAMENT DAYS
Players are not allowed to play a practice round on the tournament course on any tournament day / weekend.
Penalty: Disqualification.
TROPHIES
Each division will be awarded trophies for Champion, Runner-Up, and Third Place, regardless of field size.

SPECTATOR CODE OF CONDUCT POLICY

PLAYING "DOWN" AN AGE DIVISION
A player may elect to play "down" one division if the player is unable to complete 18 holes in a timely fashion
and/or is just learning the game. However, that player's score MAY NOT COUNT TOWARD TROPHIES OR
POINTS. Please note that the player will still receive a Dedication Trophy for his/her effort, but cannot earn a place
trophy. The player would be playing mainly for tournament experience. Premier's Committee reserves the right to
limit or refuse playing down of any competitor.
PLAYING "UP" AN AGE DIVISION
CADDY USE OF CARTS
Caddies of competitors in the Young Women 10-12 (9 Hole/Day Division), Boys 9-10 (18 holes/day) and all
9-Hole/Day divisions may rent a cart for use during play. The caddy may use the cart to shuttle their player (and
other players and caddies) between holes. After reaching the tee, the player cannot ride and must walk the entire
hole. The caddy may leave the bag on the cart or carry it on the course with the player when needed. Premier
Junior Tour Officials reserve the right to ask caddies to shuttle players during holes as needed.
ELIGIBILITY
To play you must be an amateur golfer no older than 19. The player's age on the last day of a tournament will
determine the player's age for that particular tournament.
POINTS SYSTEM
Premier Points are used for calculating year-end awards, special invitations, quarterly rewards and recognitions,
etc. Click here to view the Point Standings Information Page.
RANKINGS AND IMPORTANT NOTE CONCERNING 13-15 and 16-19 DIVISIONS
Premier Junior Tour reports results to the National Junior Golf Scoreboard Ranking System. A Division needs 5
competitors to finish the tournament for the event to be ranked. In the event of low attendance in a given Division,
Premier reserves the right to combine that Division with a stronger Division to obtain a National Ranking.
REJECTION OF ENTRY AND BEHAVIORS THAT COULD RESULT IN IMMEDIATE DISQUALIFICATION (CODE OF
CONDUCT)
Club Throwing & Profanity not tolerated; First Offense of either during a tournament weekend: Official Warning;
Second Offense, two-stroke penalty; Third Offense: player's immediate disqualification.

karen@premierjuniortour.com or call 239.822.8590.
FIELD SIZE
Each tournament's full field size may differ slightly depending on number of tee times allowed, etc.
PAIRINGS AND TEE TIMES
Saturday Pairings and Tee Times of 2- and 3-Day stroke play tournaments will be posted on the Premier website
at 7pm on the Friday before the tournament.
Final round pairings and tee times will be arranged by Saturday score WITHIN EACH DIVISION. Pairings and Tee
Times will be posted on the Premier website and at the host hotel. Website pairings will be viewable one to two
hours after completion of play of the last group. A player may also call Karen at 239.822.8590; however, we
recommend you see your tee time in black and white. IT IS THE PLAYER'S RESPONSIBILITY TO KNOW THEIR
TEE TIME AND TO BE AT THE TEE TEN MINUTES BEFORE THEIR SCHEDULED TIME.
DISTANCE-MEASURING DEVICES
Devices that measure distances ONLY are permitted for use during competition at Premier Junior Tour events.
However, if the device measures anything other than distance (e.g., slope, etc.), that device may NOT be used
during competition. Penalty: disqualification.
TIES AND PLAY-OFFS
Ties for Division Champion are determined by an on-course play-off.
Ties for Runner-Up and Third Place are determined by a chip and putt off.
We do not believe in scorecard play-offs. It is the responsibility of the player to be present for play-offs. If not
present, they forfeit the higher position finish.
REGARDING WALKING AND CADDIES
Players must walk and need to carry their own bag. Pull carts are permitted in all divisions unless the course
does not permit it. If not permitted, this will be notated on the Tournament Information Sheet for the tournament
on the website. Caddies are only permitted in the Young Women 10-12 (9-Hole Division only), Boys 9-10 and all
9-Hole/Day divisions. Over-coaching is not permitted. By participating in an event, the Caddy hereby agrees to
policies set forth in this caddy policy. For the Boys 11-12 and Young Women 10-12 year old divisions, the Starter
will ask for a parent volunteer who agrees to help keep score and be available for any scoring questions
post-round in the Scoring Area.
PRACTICE ROUNDS AND OTHER TOURNAMENT INFORMATION
Typically, a single practice round will be available for an additional fee, arranged with and payable to the golf
course. Some courses allow player's guests to also play for a fee. Players under 16 years old will not be allowed
to operate carts during practice rounds, but typically all players may ride in carts during the practice rounds. See
each event's Tournament Information Sheet for full details on practice rounds, starting times, hotels, etc.
PROPER ATTIRE REQUIRED BY PLAYERS AND SPECTATORS
Proper golf attire must be worn at all times when players and spectators are at a host facility.
Hats and visors must be worn with brim forward; males must remove hat/visor while indoors at host facility;
collared shirts or golf shirts must be worn and tucked in at all times; Women's fashion shirts without a collar are
acceptable but must have sleeves; short must be no higher than 5" above the knees or the inseam of the shorts
must measure at least 5"; all attire must be acceptable by the host facility, and men's shorts cannot hang below
the knee. You may not wear tank tops, t-shirts, earrings (males), body piercing (earrings for females acceptable),
denim attire of any kind.
WITHDRAWALS, NO SHOWS, & NO CARDS
Players who have entered and been accepted into a field may only withdraw with a full credit (no refund) if a
doctor's written excuse is mailed to Premier, or if certain conditions exist that Premier accepts, and if the player or
parent calls Premier at 239.822.8590 prior to the start of the event. A no-show (NS) is a player who fails to show
for a round of a tournament without contacting Premier by phone. No shows do not receive a credit. Withdraws
(WD) of any kind do not receive a credit. A withdrawal is a player who begins the round but does not complete the
round or the tournament. To withdraw from a tournament, the player MUST speak with the Premier Committee
for the withdrawal to be considered justified. Withdrawing for poor play is considered an unjustifiable withdrawal,
and will be reported as such to the National Junior Golf Scoreboard. If a player does not return a scorecard at
scoring or to the committee for proper withdrawal, the player is designated as no card (NC). Serious breaches of
Premier policy are no shows, no cards and improper or unjustifiable withdrawals.
CREDITS
No entry fee may be refunded; a credit will be issued to be used within a 12-month period. Credit policy: requests
for a credit 7 or more days before a tournament will be honored less a $20 administration fee. No requests will
be honored within 7 days of the tournament. No credits will be issued due to tournaments being shortened for
any reason.
SPIKELESS POLICY
Shoes with traditionally-designed spikes, comprised entirely or partially of metal (when metal comes in contact
with the surface of the putting green) are prohibited. Penalty: disqualification.
